Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do I have to leave an existing job?

No, with Nurses On Call Inc. you’re able to pick up shifts on a flexible schedule and work around an existing job.

  • Is there a minimum amount of hours I have to work?

We don’t guarantee a minimum number of hours, and there is no minimum requirement. Some facilities may individually require you to work a shift with them at least once every few months to maintain current status - if that’s the case, we’ll let you know. Facilities have variable needs each week, so our goal is to match your needs with theirs.

It depends on how quickly you can get your paperwork and documentation to us! The sooner you complete your online application, the sooner we can get you working. We need a background check and to verify credentials which we can’t start without your completed application and an interview, so call us right away at 850-474-9803 if you have any questions.  Most of our nurses are able to begin work within 1-2 weeks.

Since we’re an agency, we don’t offer employer sponsored health plans, but we do have options for cafeteria style insurance if you need vision, dental, or medical.

  • How often do you get paid?

We pay via Direct Deposit weekly! It offers the best flexibility for you and for us.

  • What types of work do you offer?

All types! We offer daily, part time, and full time scheduling in different types of facilities. We staff hospitals, clinics, doctors offices, assisted living facilities, and more.
